These Terms govern your access and use of the Pitch Like This platform, website, and related services. By creating an account or using the product, you accept these Terms.

1 — Access and Usage Rights

Licenses

  • Right to access the platform

    • Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use Pitch Like This for lawful and intended purposes.
    • Service modules may include campaign publishing, onboarding workflows, assistant-driven guidance, and resume/job-description analysis features, each of which may evolve, be limited, or be regionally unavailable.

  • Right to copy or modify the software

    • The software codebase is open-source under AGPL 3.0.
    • You may use, modify, fork, or deploy the code for private or commercial use.
    • Any such usage must comply with the strict copyleft clause requiring:
      • your modified or derivative works to remain open-source,
      • published under the same AGPL 3.0 license, and
      • with a publicly accessible repository.
    • The AGPL obligations apply to hosted SaaS deployments and forks,

  • Use of brand and identity

    • The brand name "Pitch Like This", its logo, and associated visual identity are copyrights of the creator — Pranav Mandhare.
    • These may not be reused, redistributed, or re-branded without a separate written contract or license.

2 — Restrictions of Use

Users agree to the following restrictions:

  • Do not share account logins or act on behalf of another person.
  • Do not accept terms or privacy agreements on behalf of another person.
  • Do not use the platform:
    • to spam,
    • to deceive or defraud,
    • to promote hate speech,
    • to harass users or leads,
    • to engage in deceptive outreach,
    • to create discriminatory content,
    • for impersonation or identity misrepresentation,
    • to spread threats or intimidations,
    • to promote illegal services or products under your local laws.
  • Users are expected to follow socially acceptable communication norms for outreach and touch-base communication.

Violation of acceptable use may lead to suspension or termination.

3 — User Eligibility

  • The platform is available to users aged 13 and above.
  • Users below 18 should use the service only where permitted by local laws.

4 — Intellectual Property (IP)

Platform and Brand IP

  • The brand name, logo, identity, and taglines belong to Pranav Mandhare.

User-Generated Content (UGC)

  • All UGC — projects, campaigns, reusable experience case studies you create in your account (experience library), attachments of those experiences to your campaigns (including display order), legacy campaign-scoped services and case studies where still present, other services, leads, uploaded resumes, and job-description inputs — remains your intellectual property.
  • You grant Pitch Like This a limited right to:
    • process your content,
    • store it,
    • display it in campaigns you choose to publish (including experience content you have attached to those campaigns),
    • execute onboarding and assistant workflows using that content,
    • generate derivative operational outputs (for example, structured summaries, workflow states, and scoring breakdowns), and
    • use it for product functionality and analytics as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • This includes internal analytics and operational telemetry derived from your use of the service, such as:
    • session analytics (for example, number of sessions, engaged sessions, and active time spent on campaign pages),
    • event analytics (for example, link opens, button clicks, and related metadata),
    • assistant/onboarding state transitions and action completions necessary to operate and resume flows,
    • aggregated and anonymized statistics used to improve and benchmark the service.
  • Analytics are primarily visible only to the project/campaign owner in their dashboard; we may also use aggregated, non-identifying analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the product.
  • You remain responsible for ensuring that:
    • your content does not violate NDAs,
    • you are legally permitted to publish the material you submit (including any experience you attach to an active, publicly accessible campaign).

The creator reserves the right to restrict or revoke access to the branded platform if accepted policies are violated.

5 — Financial and Commercial Terms

  • Pitch Like This is currently free to use.
  • Users joining in this phase are considered beta users.
  • The creator reserves the right to:
    • introduce paid tiers in the future,
    • restrict or modify feature access,
    • grandfather lifetime access for early users at discretion,
    • or limit features where necessary for performance, safety, legal compliance, or sustainability.

Any commercial changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.

6 — Support & User Requests

  • Account deletion, project deletion, campaign deletion, experience-library deletion, or other UGC deletion

    • Requests can be made via email from your verified account address.
    • Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, unless legally restricted or technically dependent on essential platform functions.

  • Scope of deletion (what is removed)

    • Deleting a campaign or project may remove or detach campaign-specific data but does not necessarily delete your account-level experience case studies (your experience library). Those records may remain available for use in other campaigns unless you separately delete them or request account-wide deletion.
    • Deleting an experience from your library (where the product offers that action) removes that item from your library subject to technical and retention limits described in the Privacy Policy.
    • Operational records required for security, abuse prevention, and service integrity (for example, limited workflow and task metadata) may be retained for a necessary period as described in the Privacy Policy and legal obligations.
    • If you are unsure what will be deleted, ask via the support email before confirming destructive actions.

  • Support channel

If a requested deletion makes the application unable to operate at a necessary functional level, your platform access may be terminated as part of the deletion process.

7 — Analytics, Automation & Technical Protections

  • The service uses internal analytics (including sessions, events, and time-on-page) to provide campaign performance metrics such as engaged sessions, total sessions, and active time spent.
  • The service may run onboarding and assistant automation that stores intermediate operational state (for example, flow progress, step status, and task status) to ensure continuity and reliability.
  • Technical measures such as rate limiting and abuse-prevention (for example, per-IP limits on lead submissions using an in-memory store like Upstash Redis) are part of the service and may temporarily process IP addresses and request metadata (such as timestamps and request paths).
  • These analytics, automation, and protection mechanisms are operated in line with the Privacy Policy, which describes what is collected and how long it is kept.
  • By using the service, you acknowledge that such analytics, automation, and technical protections are necessary to operate, secure, and improve the product.

8 — Risk Management & Liability

Limitation of Liability

  • Pitch Like This, the creator, or any contributors are not liable for financial loss, damages, reputational harm, or legal exposure arising from:
    • misuse of the product,
    • publishing confidential or NDA-protected material,
    • unlawful activity under local laws,
    • incorrect or misleading user-generated content,
    • reliance on automated or assistant-generated suggestions,
    • or third-party interactions initiated through the platform.

Disclaimers

  • The service is provided "As Is" and "As Available."
  • No guarantees are made that the platform:
    • will be free from errors,
    • will operate uninterrupted,
    • or will meet expected outcomes.
  • We do not guarantee clients, jobs, conversions, or hiring results.
  • Assistant and scoring outputs are informational and workflow-support tools, not legal, financial, hiring, recruiting, or professional advice.
  • The platform provides tools — outcomes depend on your skill, effort, and context.

Indemnification

  • Users are responsible for their own content and actions.
  • Pitch Like This and the creator are not liable for:
    • disputes with leads,
    • damages to third parties,
    • or consequences of how users use or distribute campaign content.

9 — Termination & Exit

  • You may request:

    • account deletion,
    • project deletion,
    • campaign deletion,
    • deletion of specific experience case studies in your library (where available in the product),
    • or other UGC / campaign data deletion.

  • Requests must be made via the verified account email.

  • Deletion timeline

    • Processed within 30 days, unless required sooner by law or security risk.

  • Scope of deletion

    • As in Section 6, removing a campaign or project may detach experiences from that campaign but may not delete underlying experience library items; account or explicit experience deletion requests may be required to remove those records. Ask via the support email if you need a specific outcome.

  • If deletion of essential runtime data:

    • prevents safe or functional operation of the platform,
    • access to the service may be terminated as part of the deletion process.

  • Paused or deleted content may continue to exist where previously cached or copied by third parties — such copies are beyond our technical control.

10 — Legal & Dispute Resolution

  • Pitch Like This operates under sole proprietorship of Pranav Mandhare.
  • Any disputes or claims arising from the use of this platform will be governed by:
    • Indian Law,
    • under jurisdiction of Pune, India.

11 — Modifications to These Terms

  • The creator may update or modify these Terms which will be:
  • Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms; continued use of the service also signifies acceptance of the then-current Privacy Policy.
